In their last game of 2011, Miami Heat brings home a 4 and 0 record in a 103-101 win against Minnesota. What a nice birthday present for LeBron. If you missed the last two minutes, you missed the game. It was an adrenaline rush being chased by those Beasley wolfs through the enchanted forest, LeBron went up but came down hard with a hit in the eye and Shane Battier was scuffling on the floor for a jump ball but when all was said and done, the closer, D. Wade came through with a Mind Set to win.

Miami Heat v Charlotte Bobcats 12/28/11
With a 2 and 0 record Miami Heat moved on to the Bobcats. The cats stole LeBron’s ball at the end of the 1st quarter but you know it was not going down like that. LeBron said, “Gimme me my ball back,” and he charged after the thief at the other end as he was headed up to the hoop. They met up at the rim and LeBron said, “I’m taking what’s mine.” He then slapped that ball right out of the rim – without a foul, that’s impressive. (20-32) When Bosh said, “I’m coming through and ran into the paint, he got beat up in traffic and sent to the line. But Bosh came back strong, he said, “That’s fine, guys, I’ll take 2 at the line. (26-37) Brown tries to go up for 2 but Shane Battier stops that action. (29-41) Bosh goes up again but gets hammered down as the shot clock goes off - he still manages to get the ball up in time and draw the foul. LeBron adds a clean 3. (34 -46). Augustine puts the pressure on Chalmers drawing a foul; then Augustine makes an impressive long shot for 3 as the quarter ends with Miami trailing. (45-60) The 3rd quarter opens without D. Wade, but Chalmers fills in and takes it to the rim for 2. (59-68) Then Walker races back down to the opposite rim and answers with 2. But James Jones comes in with his 3 pointers and LeBron is hot stealing the merchandise; (63-68) the Heat defense kicks into gear. You can’t keep D. Wade off the court long. When he does come back, it’s to defend his title, “Leading Shot Blocker.” In the 4th quarter, LeBron heads up to the rim but gets clobbered so he settles for 2 at the line. (76-79) The Heat closes in on the score when Chalmers brings it on with a reverse dunk. (88-86). Bosh did a superman slide across the floor. He said he was working on that chest slide all summer. Hey ref you missed that gold tend call. give LeBron back his 2 points. After taking some blood pressure medicine, Heat pulls off a 96-95 win for a 3 and 0 record.
Boston Celtics v Miami Heat 12/27/11
The Miami Heat brings home the bacon with a final score of 107-115. Chalmers came out hitting a 3 pointer to tie the score 4-4. It was a Bosh night - attacking the rim. LeBron stole then raced down the lane for a slam – That man is speed and power. It was a head jerker score at 29-34 when a Heat in-bound was picked off by Rondo but no, back to the Heat. Wade put a stop to that with a pass to Cole over in the corner with poise and confidence for 3. (29-38) Haslem cleaned up taking the score to 32-42. Allen was hot but his 3 pointers were not enough to put out the flame. Sorry Rhondo. Go Heat.
Miami Heat at Dallas 12/25/11
The Heat gives Miami a Christmas gift – a win over the Dallas Mavericks with a final score of 105-94. Despite the Banner Rising Ceremony, the Dallas Mavericks are not the same but Dirk is still a force to be recognized and expect fast action from Jason the Jet. He was all over the ball driving to the basket. But the Wade-LeBron-Bosh trio had a rhythm going. The Heat now has a another trio in the works Cole - Haslem – Chalmers. James Jones has his own thing going, on fire with his 3 points. And then there is the clean up team. That’s right forget the rebound on offense, go for cleaning up and getting the ball to the basket. The off-season Wade must have taken batting lessons – Did you see his defense - batting that ball out of the hoop just before half-time. with a score of 61-41. What an impressive steal and followed by a lay up in the 3rd quarter. (71-43) and LeBron coming down the lane with a slam. (93-65) Go Heat.
