In Q1 the Miami Heat dashed out the huddle with some football passes to take a ten point lead over Boston at the end of Q1 (11-21). In Q2 Rajon Rondo # 9 sat on the bench picking his teeth and not smiling, watching Mike Miller # 13 hit 3 (14-24). Some technical fouls called first on Ray Allen # 20, then on Celtics Coach Glen Doc Rivers, energized the team. Rondo came into the game blazing with bullets to the basket and brought the Celtics to an even score at half-time (46-46). They say don’t get mad get even. But LeBron James # 6 and Dewayne Wade # 3 fired up the grill for some holiday barbecue ending Q 3 leading 61-72 and finishing the game leading 79-93. LeBron with 32 points, 13 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 blocks; Wade added 22 points, and Bosh, “Bosh who?” The Wade and LeBron duo totaled 54 points. Udonis Haslem # 40, didn’t matter he had a patched eye, still played to win. Joel Anthony # 50 picked up his 5th foul with about 5 minutes left in Q4 but he was getting the job done. “Not in my house.” Heat fans started filing out of the American Airlines Arena with 2 minutes left. “We got this.” They felt sure the Heat would maintain its 77-93 lead.
